Styles That Might Not Catch On

I'm still trying to unpack this look.  It's just one "why?" after another.  But the model is from Prague, so perhaps this is normal attire in the Czech Republic?

Art, Porn, Or Commerce?

Am I the only one who finds it increasingly difficult to differentiate between pornography, commercial photography (professional models ostensibly selling clothes), art photography, and just some kid with an iPhone?  Look at the picture above.  When I first saw it on Tumblr I would have that it was a part of a porn shoot.  All the signs were there: bright, flat photography, haphazard styling, aggressively sexual stance, come-hither expression, lightly oiled torso, and shaved pubic region.  But no, I tracked this down to its source, a legit modeling agency. Surprised? I was.  I case you were wondering, the model's name is Cezar Lobo (which even sounds like a nom de porn) and he's from Brazil, the country where everyone is so beautiful that to save time they simply sign everyone to a modeling contract at birth.

Here's Lucas!

There are "It" boys and then there is Lucas Santoni. I'd call him a "WOW" boy, capital letters required.   This 18-year old Parisian art student made his official runway debut in July and seems poised to set the world on fire.  Aside from those big, brown Bambi eyes, and those lush pillowy lips, Lucas displays a world class smile. He also plays bass in a very French-sounding pop band called Cheyenne Paris.  I'm sure you'll see more of him here, so watch this space.
