Watch This
Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho, a Brazilian shot subject that has wracked up over three million views since it was uploaded on YouTube in 2011 is a perfect little gem of a film, guaranteed to leave you with a great big goofy smile on your face. A feature length version, now called Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho, with the same wonderful cast (Ghilherme Lobo and Fabio Audi are the two boys, and Tess Amorim is the girl) has been playing the festival circuit, and will be opening in Brazilian cinemas soon. (The English title is The Way He Looks, which is in no way a translation of the Portugese.) Although I don't think the original can be improved upon, the trailer looks very nice. The feature film obviously adds complications to the story, and ramps up the sex content a notch.
Props for the Belle and Sebastian song in the trailer. Great choice. And here's a bonus picture from behind the scenes.

The Past Is A Foreign Country II: Prince Edition
I was spending time recently (and by "recently" I mean ten minutes ago) correcting metadata on my huge, messy collection of music files, and finding the the perfect cover art for every file. This is something that I spend a lot of time doing, and something I likely will be doing until the day I die. Be that as it may, I came upon a song by Prince called "I Wanna Be Your Lover," which he recorded in 1979 when he was 21 years old, and was his first chart hit. While searching for the proper cover art, I came across some interesting promotional photos of the artist formerly known as The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, and I felt compelled to share them. Two things I took away from this: 1) No matter how cool you think you are, or how cool you've convinced everybody else to think you are, at some point you were probably a huge dork, and 2) I'd hit that. You betcha.

Charlie Is So Cute, Like
Cecilie Harris, a woman who has proved herself to have impeccable taste, has called Charlie Wheelhouse, a 16-year-old London-based model, "the perfect boy." We are, of course, in no position to say if this is true or not, but would welcome the chance to find out. Of one thing we're sure: he's awfully cute.

And then this happened...
I'm just scrolling though my Tumblr dash, minding my own business, when suddenly, BAM!, this happened:
Thankfully, I don't have a weak heart, or who knows what might have occurred. Here's more:

Sadly, my brief research has suggested that this vision of pulchritude, who we only know as Paul G., may have already given up modeling as a profession/avocation. I hope I'm wrong, because... I just want to look at him some more.
