Norwegian model Jakob Landvik is one of those boys who carry such delicate beauty that photographers can't think of anything better to do with him than slap a lot of makeup on him and dress him up in women's clothing. Perhaps the fact that he came out as gay at a very early age plays a role in people's thinking that a lovely, long-haired boy can't also be masculine. I have nothing against androgyny, but sometimes it feels a bit forced. Happily, Cecilie Harris let him be a boy when she photographed him, but did she also have to freeze him half-to-death to do it? Watching the video, all I wanted to do was wrap him up in a blanket and give him a hot chocolate.
