I am very conflicted as to which country deserves the right to be called The Land of the Super Twink. Is it Japan or South Korea? Both have legitimate claims to the title, and far be it from me to make the decision. One thing is for sure, they start 'em young in Japan. J-Pop teen idols are often so young that it even gives me pause. Some of these kids are practically zygotes, but there they are, in groups like Sexy Zone and Ya-Ya-Yahs, sexed up, stripped down, and ready to party. There is an organization in Japan called Johnny's & Associates, and their subsidiary, Johnny's Jr, that factory produces teen idols like bees produce honey; all boys, each twinkier than the next.
