Go To This Blog!

This is a thing that happened.  Several years ago a person named Colby Kern commented on a post I made, said nice things about my sad little blog, and suggested that I might check out his blog.  I am sorry to say that I saw this comment for the first time yesterday.  I swear that this is true. Yesterday I surfed on over to ColbyKern.com and looked at his blog... and here's the thing:  Colby's blog is way, way better than mine.  I'm serious, folks, it is a thing of beauty.  So I don't think I need to tell you, but just to be sure, go to ColbyKern.com, that's ColbyKern.com, and try to not fall in love. ColbyKern.com. Do it.

P.S. All photos of this taken by and property of Colby Kern.

Oy! Dancing Boy!

Deejohn over at his wonderful blog, The Beauty Hunter introduced me to the beautiful 16-year-old dancer Brandon Carpio. Isn't he gorgeous? Search for him on The YouTubes to see him in glorious action.  If you are not already a regular visitor to The Beauty Hunter, I suggest that you get over there right now, and show Deejohn some well-deserved love.

Meet Richard

One of the nice things that sometimes happen when you run a blog is that people will write to you and ask you to have a look at their blog.  Such was the case last week when a handsome young man named Richard Whitney wrote to introduce me to his blog, Some Model Perceptions.   Richard's avocation is erotic modelling , and he has a nice collection of artistic nudes of himself which you are sure to enjoy, but there's more going on than just that.  He is an intelligent and well-educated young man, and his blog posts about art, erotica, and queer culture are thoughtful and interesting reads. His recent post regarding the Bel Ami studios is a fascinating read. I suggest you go there right now.

Whatever Turns You On

Far be it from me to tell people what they can and cannot like, but for some reason I have always thought foot fetishism was a little bit funny.  Not funny "strange," but funny "ha-ha."  And I thought it was even funnier when I learned there was a blog called Barefoot YouTubers. It just seems so... specific.  Don't get me wrong.  It is a very nicely done Tumblr blog, and it's just the ticket for people who are interested in YouTubers and their feet. Look, it's all perfectly harmless, and just because I don't really get it, so what?  I'm sure that plenty of other people do get it.  And for those who are not into feet,  but are interested in YouTubers, who as a rule are a rather photogenic lot, other parts of the YouTubers are shown as well, such as in this rather nice screen capture of "Thatcher" Joe Sugg. I don't much care about his feet, but the rest of him is pretty.

Would You Read This Book?

Check out this book cover from pre-Stonewall days. The book is called The Gay Jungle by Donald Evans.  I haven't read it, but even though it was aimed at a gay audience, notice how creepy all the guys on the cover are. Even the boy at the center, presumably the hero, ("Nick Petrie, just 16, but with the face and body of an Apollo") seems vaguely sinister.  Of course, those were different times,  and that generation of gay men was raised to believe, and many did believe, that they were abominations against God, country, and all that is decent.

This image comes from a fascinating, very NSFW blog called Homodesiribus.  The blog mostly vintage homoerotica. gay ephemera,  and straight up porn. Some hot stuff there, particularly if you go for big, hairy men, but it also works as a repository of gay social history.  Highly recommended.

Not So Random Shirtless Guy

Many thanks to fabulous blog The Beauty Hunter for pointing me towards super hot Serbian model Denis Jovanovic.  Head over there for more of Denis, including a great TV ad he made a few years ago.

Jared Eng Makes Me Hot

You may or may not know who Jared Eng is. He is a celebrity blogger whose very successful site, Just Jared, has caused him to be called, by such outlets as The New York Times, the anti-Perez Hilton. Basically, Jared doesn't make shit up, doesn't make judgements, and doesn't jump to conclusions. How successful is Just Jared?  In 2010 it had revenues in the seven figures.

The first time I saw a picture of Jared Eng, my immediate reaction was, "Break me off some of that."  Now in his early thirties,  Jared is one hot piece.

It is only recently that Jared has begun flaunting what the good Lord gave him. Last week he showed up at Matthew Morrison's Halloween party dressed as... well, I don't know what he was dressed as exactly, but his costume largely consisted of a layer of gold paint.

Earlier in the week he threw his own party an came as a lion. A shirtless lion. Dear me.

And then there's this: Over the weekend Jared took twenty of his friends to Disneyland.  When I saw this photo I nearly fell off my chair.

Le Homme Nikita

When in search of pretty things, one can hardly go wrong at Coitus Magazine's blog. For instance,  here's new face Nikita B, who is almost inhumanly beautiful, photographed exclusively for Coitus by Leonardo Corredor.  For more from this shoot, you should pay Coitus a visit here and let them know what you think.
